Luxury self catering accommodation in the heart of the beautiful Exmoor National Park
Stables and Kennels
We have eight purpose built standard internal boxes of 12'x12'. Each box has a fitted non-slip nylon mat. We use a product similar to sawdust for our own horses, this can be sold at cost price per bag; alternatively bring your own preferred bedding. We ask that paper bedding not be used.
Stabling for horses
Water taps are located both in the barn and just outside for water buckets etc.
There is a shared feed house with one bin designated for visitors. (you may have to share this with other guests). If you wish to purchase food on arrival, two miles away is a feed agent which stocks most brands of food although we can give you their number if you wish to check what is available before you arrive.
A tack room is located in the stable area, which again you would share, alternatively each cottage has its own lock-up in a barn close by the residential area, this being large enough to store you tack.
Each cottage has a small kennel with run attached.. We ask that no dogs are left in the cottages without their owner. The kennels are for use if you go out but cannot take your dog with you or if normally housed outside at home.
Safe Kennel for your dog
Only fully house-trained dogs are allowed in the cottages please.
We ask that all dogs are washed and dried before entering the cottages. An area for washing them off is located in a barn area close to both cottages.
